Club Fitting

Launch Monitor

Our launch monitor uses Doppler radar technology to track the club path, face angle and attack angle, as well as tracking the club speed, ball speed and spin rate. The ball flight path and distance is then simulated. Sessions on the launch monitor are by appointment only.

Fitting center

With modern fitting carts the solutions are endless. We can assemble a vast amount of demo clubs with the turn of a key. We also have a large hitting net for you to test the clubs in the shop.

lending clubs

Once we have found a selection of clubs that suit your style of play, and most importantly that improve on your current clubs, I then lend you the clubs for a maximum of a week. This gives you the opportunity to test them on the range and on the course.

Club Adjustment

Having tested the clubs and decided to proceed with the purchase, we need to take a look at what needs to be modified with the club. The most comment factors to be considered are the lie (angle between the sole of the club and shaft), shaft length and grip size, although the swing weight and kick point of the shaft can also be altered.

Ordering

We now need to decide on the composition of the set. If there is a doubt, I think it is better to order less clubs to start with. We can always order an extra club later. Delivery from the factory takes about 7-15 days, depending on availability. If time is of the essence I can always modify the clubs myself in the workshop. This usually takes 3-7 days.

Guarantee

I always say to my customers “if you are not happy with anything you buy from me, please bring it back” and I am serious. I would rather have a used club I need to sell than an unhappy customer.

The Workshop

With over 25 years of experience I have pretty much seen it all. Feel free to give me a call to discuss your requirements.

Please note that all items purchased in my shop will of course take priority in the workshop.

Grip

Sets of clubs can be re-gripped in 24 hours (stock dependent). Prices of grips vary from €10-€20, with putter grips being more expensive. If you only have a few grips, it may be possible for me to do them while you wait.

Club repair

Most clubs can be repaired. Broken shafts are the most common occurrence - if we can’t find the original shaft I will be able to find a shaft with similar specifications.

Loft, lie and length

If you have an existing set we can always modify the length and the lie.

Trolley repair

I have access to spare parts for most of the popular brands for both electric and manual trolleys. Please note that electric trolleys bought in the UK are not subject to warranty repairs in Belgium.

Junior Golf

I love to see Juniors in the shop although I do sometimes wonder if starting young doesn’t just increase the years for frustration and suffering. Joking aside, Juniors progress at such a rate, not to mention their physical development, that it is important to find cost effective ways of equipping them.
